Description
Pittlands is a house that dates back to the 17th century and was extended in the 20th century. It is constructed from sandstone rubble with brick angle quoins and dressings, along with brick extensions, all beneath plain tiled roofs that are hipped to the right. The building has two storeys with gable-lit attics above basement plinths. There is a plat band over the ground floor and a rear stack located to the left.
The facade features two casement windows on the first floor and one on the ground floor, along with one window on each floor and one in the basement on the left-hand return front. A five-light casement window is situated between the timbers of the gable end. To the right, there is a ribbed door located in a porch with a pentice roof, positioned in the re-entrant angle formed by the two ranges of the house. Additionally, there are wooden 17th-century window mullions in the window next to the re-entrant angle on the wing. The property was formerly known as Punchbowl Farm.
