Description
Wychmoor is a house dating from the late 16th century, with 19th century extensions added to the front left and rear. The main range is timber framed and clad in galleted sandstone rubble, featuring brick angle quoins. The extensions are also made of galleted sandstone rubble, set on sandstone block plinths, and have plain tiled half-hipped roofs. The building has an L-shaped plan, with a wing projecting to the front left. It stands two storeys tall and has multiple ridge stacks at the center of the older rectangular range, along with an attic storey in the end of the projecting wing.
On the right side, there are two 19th century casement windows on both the first and ground floors, with the ground floor windows set beneath brick label mouldings. To the left, there is one attic oriel window supported on braces, along with one first floor and two ground floor windows on the wing, all under label mouldings. A door is located on the right-hand return front of the wing. The rear features a pentice extension and some tile hanging. Inside, some wall framing remains, including the old exterior walls.
