Description

This is a late 16th-century house with 18th-century extensions at each end and a 20th-century extension to the rear right. The central portion is timber-framed, built on a sandstone rubble plinth with whitewashed brick infill. The ends are constructed of brick-dressed sandstone rubble, while the rear extensions are brick and tile hung. The roof is tiled, half-hipped to the right and hipped to the left, with a corbelled ridge stack on the right side. The windows are irregularly placed, with leaded casements. The central section is three bays wide, featuring four windows on the first floor and six on the ground floor. A plank door is located to the right of the centre, sheltered by a gabled porch, and is approached by a flight of seven steps.
