Description

The building is a smock mill located 20 yards northwest of Mill Farmhouse in Chiddingfold, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and has an octagonal shape topped with a plain tile roof, standing approximately 15 feet high. The mill features two 19th-century plank doors with cambered heads on the north and south faces. Above the north door, there is a dated brick that reads "1813JMT," indicating the year of construction and the initials of James Tupper, who owned all the mills in Chiddingfold.
