Description

This is a mid-18th century house that has been divided into two commercial premises at 30 and 32 High Street, Godalming. The building is constructed of red brick laid in a header bond pattern, with a plain tile roof. It is two storeys high and has four bays. The shop fronts have been altered in the 20th century; the right-hand shop front features fluted, Ionic pilasters. The first floor windows are sash windows. The two right-hand windows retain raised apron panels, while the two left-hand windows have lost their aprons. All windows are topped with flat brick arches. The eaves project outwards and are decorated with modillions, and the roof is hipped.
