Description

Bramblehurst Farm House is a house dating from the early 16th century, with a 17th-century cross wing to the right and 20th-century extensions to the left. The building is timber framed with whitewashed and colourwashed render infill, and it has brick underbuilding. The first floor features 'Club' and fishscale tile hanging, which cants out over the ground floor on the right side. The roofs are plain tiled. The house has an H-shaped plan, with the original structure situated between the cross wings, which consists of three bays, and a two-bay cross wing to the right.

It is two storeys tall with attics in the gabled cross wing to the right, and there is a multiple stack located to the right of the centre. The right-hand cross wing has one leaded casement window on the first floor and two on the ground floor, along with an attic window. The central range on the first floor has four windows, two of which have diagonal mullions. There are two windows on the ground floor and one window on the return wall of the left-hand cross wing. The first floor features arched bracing in the centre, and there is a tile pentice course across the ground floor. A pentice-roofed porch with a stable door is located to the right of centre, and there is a bread oven at the rear.
