Description
Little Pittance is a house dating from the 16th century, with alterations from the 17th and 20th centuries. It features a timber frame that is clad in a mix of puddingstone rubble, sandstone, and brick. The roof is steeply pitched and covered with plain tiles, hipped with end gablets. The building has one storey and attics, which are adorned with three gabled dormers. There is a large chimney stack located to the left of the center and another end stack to the left. On the ground floor, there are three casement windows and a part-glazed door situated to the left of center, which is sheltered by a gable hood supported on braces. At the rear, there is a stack and a buttressed rear wall.
