Description
Old Place is a house dating from the late 16th century, which has been restored in the 20th century and extended to the right. It features a timber frame that is under-built in sandstone block and rubblestone, with whitewashed rendered infill above, all covered by a plain-tiled roof that is half-hipped to the left. The building has one storey and an attic, with three gables on the eaves and a larger gable to the right that rises to two storeys. On the first floor to the right, there is one leaded casement window. The house has two square brick stacks, one on the left and one on the right. The ground floor includes four leaded casement windows, and there is a door to the left of centre set within a gabled porch.
