Description
The White Bear, including the cottage to the south, is a public house and cottage that dates from the late 17th century, with additions from the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is roughcast with a slate roof on the right side and a plain tiled roof on the left, featuring end stacks and a ridge stack to the right of the center. It stands two storeys tall and is buttressed below, with eight casement windows across the first floor. There is a glazed pent roof porch on the ground floor to the left, a planked door to the left of center, and an additional hip roofed glazed porch to the right. The interior has stone floors, although much of it has been altered.
