Description

The Hale Tomb, located 10 yards southwest of the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, is a chest tomb dedicated to the Hale family, dating from around 1816. It features a stone structure resting on a stone base with a moulded plinth. The sides are panelled, and it has fluted angle piers. The top is made of darker stone, gabled, with a moulded edge. At the center, there is a crowning urn on a square plinth, which includes inscribed panels and fan decoration in the corners.
