Description

The Cottage is a house dating from the 18th century. It features a timber frame made of thin scantling, which is exposed and filled with whitewashed brick on a rendered plinth. The roof is thatched and has scalloped ridge decoration. The building is two storeys high with two framed bays and has a large offset end stack on the left and a smaller end stack on the right. The front has diagonal bracing and includes two casement windows on each floor, with a planked door located to the left of centre. At the rear, there is an extension with a catslide roof.
