Description
The Old Rectory is a house, now divided, dating from around 1780. It is constructed of red and brown brick with a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys on a plinth, featuring boxed eaves and rear stacks positioned to the left and right of the center, topped with corbelled details. There is an attic space beneath three flat roof casement dormers. The front of the house is symmetrical with five bays, showcasing glazing bar sash windows that are set under gauged brick heads. The central entrance features a six-panel door set in a deep panelled reveal, surrounded by an architrave with a bollection cornice and a broken triangular pediment above, which includes a statue. To the right, there is a late 18th-century extension that is set back at right angles and has dentilled brick eaves and a base to the gable.
