Description
The Church of St Paul, built in 1902 by W.D. Caröe, is a Grade II listed building located on Crawley Ridge in Camberley and Frimley. The church features a rendered plinth with red brick below and half-timbering above, which contains rendered infill. It has a plain tiled roof and a wooden shingled spire. The structure includes an aisled nave with transepts to the east and a taller chancel with a spire at the east end. There is a 20th-century brick extension at the west end.
The church has wooden framed leaded casement windows, with two gabled dormers on the north and south sides of the nave, and four windows below on each side, all featuring cusped-head wooden tracery. Brick buttresses support the east end, which has large gables on the north and south sides, with two gables on the south side. There are louvred dormer gables at the centre base of the spine. The east window has a sill band with brick tracery, while the chancel window features stone tracery.
Access includes a ribbed door to the north in a projecting surround under a cambered head, a door to the south in a half-timber open porch, and a further door to the west at the junction with the extension. The interior has not been inspected.
