The Spelthorne St Mary stable block, originally built in the 16th century, is now used as a library. The building features red brick walls on the ground floor and timber framing with brick panels on the upper floor, topped with a clay tile roof. It has an L-shaped plan and stands two storeys tall. The elevation facing Coldharbour Lane includes numerous windows, some of which are original but have been fitted with metal casements and leaded lights.
