Description

Thatched Cottage is a 17th-century cottage with a painted roughcast exterior and a thatched roof that is cut back above the window. The building is two storeys high. On the front elevation, there is a ground floor door located on the left side. The windows include a three-light, six-pane casement, a two-light, six-pane casement, and a four-light window with a transom. On the first floor, there are a two-light casement and a two-light, four-pane casement. At the north end, there is a weatherboarded chimney stack on the rear, which is linked by a tiled roof. Inside, the cottage features much exposed timber framing.
