Description

Nos 18 to 22 on Windsor Street in Chertsey are 18th-century buildings that have undergone alterations. No 18 is a two-storey structure with one window, constructed of limewashed brick and featuring a slate roof. It has near-flush-frame sash windows with glazing bars, although the ground floor window now contains sheet glass. The entrance has a modern door.

No 20 is also a two-storey building from the 18th century, featuring four windows, three of which have Jalousies. This building is made of painted stucco and has a slate roof. The sash windows include glazing bars, while the ground floor has modern shop windows with a central entrance framed in wood, complete with pilasters and an entablature topped by a blind box. There is a passageway on the east side with an entrance in a wood case and a flat hood.

No 22, another 18th-century building, is two storeys high with three windows. It is made of limewashed brick and has an old tile roof at two different heights. The sash windows now only have central glazing bars. The ground floor features a shop below the western two windows, framed in wood with pilasters and an entablature. There is also a coachway on the east side and a separate entrance with a fanlight.

These buildings, along with Nos 2 to 34 (even), including No 6A, form a cohesive group.
