Description

This is an early 18th-century, large three-story house located on Windsor Street in Chertsey. It is constructed of brown brick with a tiled roof that has been clipped. The eaves feature a moulded wood cornice, altered to include brackets, and five sash windows with bars. The central doorway has an open pediment supported by Tuscan order pilasters. A modern door replaces the original, and it is topped by an arched fanlight with radial bars. A moulded band runs across the second floor, while the first floor and ground floor have rendered surfaces, the latter lined and painted. The window dressings, quoins, and arches over the windows are constructed of red gauged brick. Front railings feature spearhead bars and standards topped with vases decorated with gadrooning, and a lead fall pipe is present.
