Description

This barn, located 40 yards north of Bures Manor House, dates back to the 16th century with alterations made in the 18th century and restoration in the 20th century. It features a timber frame set on a brick plinth and is clad in weatherboarding, topped with a plain tiled roof. The barn is rectangular in shape, comprising five framed bays, and has double doors positioned to the left of the center. Inside, there is a queen strut roof with 18th-century diagonal bracing in the wall framing of the end bay to the west, which is floored.
