Description

15 and 15A Bell Street is a late medieval building with a gable end facing the road, which has been finished in early 19th century stucco. The structure stands three storeys tall and features one window. It has a half hipped tiled roof and sash windows with glazing bars. The first-floor window is tripartite and bowed, situated under a swept lead hood with a scalloped edge. The ground floor has a later 19th century shop window, flanked by doors that have dentil cornices. This building is said to contain some 14th century remains of St Lawrence's Chapel. Nos 15, 15A, and 17 to 21 (odd) form a group.
