Description
Thatched Cottage, formerly known as Moores Cottage, is a building that combines two cottages into one. It dates back to the 16th century and features a timber frame with a 19th-century front. The structure includes yellow stock brick infill, red brick with flint on the left-hand end, and a rendered plinth on the right. The cottage has a thatched roof with a ridge stack located to the left of center and a gable end stack on the right. It stands two storeys tall and has casement windows with gothic glazing bars, with four windows across the first floor. There is a central 20th-century door that is glazed in a similar style, situated under a thatched porch. A 19th-century brick outhouse is connected to the rear of the house by a passage, which is not included in the listing.
