Description

This is an early to mid-19th century villa, originally with three windows, situated on Whitepost Hill. The villa is constructed of painted brickwork, featuring a low-pitched slate roof with paired brackets to the eaves soffit. It has sash windows with glazing bars and later external louvred shutters. A square bay with a hipped lead roof was added in the later 19th century to the right side of the ground floor. A central boarded door is complemented by a fanlight above. To the right of the main house is a near-contemporary, pent-roofed coachhouse extension.
