Description

No. 65 High Street is an early 18th century house that stands two storeys tall with an attic and features two windows. The building is constructed of red brick, and its roof has been renewed with modern tiles. It includes two dormers and a prominent wooden cornice with heavy modillions at the eaves. The first-floor windows are sash windows with glazing bars. On the ground floor, there is a modern small double shop front. To the right, a six-panel door is set beneath a patterned fanlight in an open porch, which is supported by slender columns with leafy capitals and decorative mutule enrichment.
