Description
This monument, located 5 metres south of the chancel of the Church of St Giles, dates from around 1797 and is made of stone. It consists of a headstone, body stone, and footstones. The body stone is shaped, while both the headstone and footstone feature an incised oval panel that bears the date '1797' and the initials 'SH(?)'. The headstone is more elaborately designed, with a decorative oval panel that includes fan quadrants at the corners, although the inscription is worn and only the date remains visible.
