Description

Sandrock Cottage is likely a 17th-century building, constructed of brick on a flint sill and featuring a tiled roof. A chimney stack is located at the western end, and a chimney breast rises from the eastern wall. The cottage is two storeys high with three windows. Small, tile-hung gables are positioned above each end window on the upper storey. The ground floor windows have slightly segmental arches. A plain wooden door, fitted with a modern rectangular fanlight, is flanked by brick pillars supporting a segmental arch. Exposed beams are visible inside. A two-storey, two-window extension has been added to the western end, constructed partly of brick and partly using modern post and panel timbering, and has a modern tiled roof.
