Description
12 and 13 Cotmandene is a building dating from around 1800, likely with a timber-framed core, that was once used as a farmhouse. The structure is two storeys high and features eight windows. It is constructed of brick and has a slate roof with a hip at the western end. There are three chimney stacks: one in the middle, one at the western end, and a chimney breast on the eastern wall. The windows are two-light casements with flat-topped window blinds above and pediment-shaped window blinds below. The wooden doors also have similar style pediments above them and are flanked by trellised columns. At the back, there is a north-south wing with an old tiled roof that connects to Rose Cottage. This building is part of a group with Nos 11 to 13 Cotmandene.
