Description

The Surrey Yeoman Public House is a timber-framed L-shaped building dating from the 18th century. It features a tiled roof and stands two storeys tall. The gable at the western end is decorated with a barge-board, and there is a narrow chimney breast next to the gable at the eastern end. The first floor is covered in shingles, while the ground floor is finished in painted brick on a modern tile base. The building has three windows: a casement window on the first floor and a sash window on the ground floor. There are also two modern doorways, each topped with tiled gabled roofs. The public house is part of a group that includes Nos 196 to 222 on the same side of High Street.
