Description

41 and 42 Dene Street are two 18th century timber-framed cottages featuring brick infilling and a partly tarred weather-boarded front. The cottages are two storeys high and have four windows. They are topped with a double hipped tiled roof, which has a large brick stack at either end. Each cottage has two light casement windows, and No 41 includes a three-sided bay window with intact glazing bars on the ground floor. The cottages also have wooden boarded doors with flat hoods supported by brackets.
