Description

The barn at Lower Gages Farm House is a 17th-century structure. It is timber framed and features weatherboard cladding, a cement block pentice at the rear, brick end walls, and a plain tiled roof. The barn consists of three framed bays that originally had central wagon entries. It has jowled posts with tension braces on the wall frames and a Queen-strut clasped purlin roof.
