Description

This building, at 12-15 West Street, likely dates to the 18th century or earlier. It may have originally been timber-framed and is now clad in tiles, with a tiled roof. The building is two storeys high and has four windows, with a gable above the second window bay from the east. A dormer window with a hipped roof is attached to the eastern side. It features four three-light casement windows retaining their original glazing bars. The shop fronts are from the 19th century. A photograph of the building is held in the National Monuments Record. The property forms part of a group with numbers 9 to 16A.
