Description
Pilgrims Way Cottage is a late 17th-century cottage constructed from galleted sandstone, featuring brick quoins and dressings, with a brown brick extension at the right end. The roof is plain tiled. The building stands two storeys high and has a plat band above the ground floor, along with a diagonal brick course at the eaves and end ridge stacks. The front of the cottage is regular, with three original casement windows on the left and one replacement window on the right. There are five windows on the ground floor, including one on the left that is set under a cambered arch. To the left, there is a 20th-century part-glazed door under a cambered arch that cuts into the plat band, and a similar door is located at the right end in a lower 20th-century brick and weatherboarded pentice roof extension.
