Description
Home Farm House is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with 19th and 20th century extensions to the rear. The building features a base of galleted sandstone with red and brown brick above, and has plain tiled roofs that slope down at the rear. It stands two storeys high, with end piers and a dentilled plat band at the eaves. There are end stacks with corbelled tops on the right side. The windows are arranged irregularly, with all casement windows on the first floor set under gauged brick, cambered heads. There are four windows on the ground floor, three of which are also under cambered heads, and a central door. To the right end, there is a single storey pentice roof extension that is set back. At the rear left, there is a parallel range with 20th century extensions to the rear right that are at right angles.
