Description

The Manor House is a house dated May 24, 1824, by John Perry of Godalming, designed in a picturesque "Tudor" style. It has been extended to the left in the early 20th century. The building is constructed of coursed, rough dressed sandstone with red brick dressings and features plain tiled roofs that are mostly hidden by parapets and gable ends, with a hipped roof to the left.

The house is two storeys high and has a plinth, with diagonal end stacks on both the left and right. To the left, there is a gabled cross wing with corbelled eaves. On the first floor, there is a 3-light arched metal head gothic tracery casement window under a gauged brick head and flat label moulding. The ground floor features a projecting bay with a similar 3-light window in front and one 2-light window on each side. There are two 2-light casements in the first floor left centre, and three below, with one 3-light casement window in a chamfered surround and under label moulding in the gabled bay to the right.

To the right of the centre, there is a two-storey gabled porch flanked by narrow arched lancet windows on each floor. The first floor of the porch has a 3-light mullioned and transomed window, while below it, there is an arched door set in a quoined and chamfered surround under a flat label hood moulding. The right-hand return front features an angle bay and two gabled bays across the rear.
