Description

This chest tomb, located 4 yards north of the North Chapel of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, dates from the mid-18th century. It is made of stone and features panelled sides, with a darker grey stone lid that has a moulded edge. The tomb has recessed, fluted angle piers and roundels at the ends. It was noted to be broken at the time of resurvey and is included in the listing for its group value only.
