Description

Roundtree Farm House is a 16th-century house that has been restored in the 20th century. It is timber framed and features whitewashed render on the front, with exposed whitewashed brick infill on the return fronts and rear. The house has a steeply pitched, plain-tiled roof with end gablets. It stands two storeys tall and consists of three framed bays, with end stacks and a large rebuilt front ridge stack located to the left of center. There are four casement windows on the first floor and four additional windows below. A plank door is positioned to the left, and there is a pentice extension at the left end. On the right-hand return front, there is arched bracing on the first floor. The rear of the house features tension bracing, thick posts, and irregular fenestration.
