Description

Lollesworth Farm House is a Grade II listed building dating from the early 16th century, with a 18th-century range added to the rear. The house has been restored and extended at the back in the 20th century. The left side features a timber frame on a whitewashed rubble plinth, with exposed whitewashed infill above and a plain tiled, half-hipped roof. The right side is constructed of red and brown brick, with some tile hanging and a gabled, plain-tiled roof.

The old entrance front is positioned at right angles to the street, while a new entrance front is located at the rear, with parallel ranges connected by a link at right angles. The rear elevation consists of two storeys and attics, featuring two gabled tile-hung casement dormers. There is a plinth with a plat band above the ground floor. The front has a regular arrangement of three casement windows on the first floor and two windows below, all under gauged brick heads. A central half-glazed door is set beneath a transom light. A large end stack is located to the left, complete with crow-stepped offsets.

On the left-hand return front, the ends of both ranges are visible. There is one casement window on the ground floor on either side of the stack, along with a glazed door at the junction of the ranges. The left side also has two ground floor windows and one window between the floors, with two casement windows on the first floor of the timber-framed range. The street front features three framed bays with two windows on both the first and ground floors, and a truncated stack on the front left. A single-storey porch has been added to the front.
