Description

The Temple to the north of Clandon Park is a structure dating from 1838, previously attributed to Capability Brown but now credited to W & H W Inwood. It is built of stone and features a copper dome. The temple is circular and stands on a stepped plinth, supported by six Ionic columns. This building is noted in Pevsner's "Buildings of England, Surrey" published in 1971, on page 510.
