Description

An 18th-century cottage row, altered in the 19th century and extended to the left. The building is constructed of brown and red brick, with some blue headers on a stone plinth to the right; a rendered plinth is present to the left. It has a plain tiled roof. The cottage is one storey and attic, with a diagonal brick course at the eaves. There are rendered ridge stacks to the right end and right of centre, a rear stack to the left of centre, and an end stack to the left. Five gabled eaves dormers are present, the largest being to the right, and they are weatherboarded with bargeboards. The windows are irregular, with six casement windows across the ground floor, grouped three under cambered heads. A half-glazed door is located to the left and another to the right of centre. A catslide roof extends to the rear. The building is included on the list solely for its group value.
