Description
The Corner House, located at 222a Chessington Road in Ewell, is an early to mid-19th century building. It features weatherboarding and has a modern pantile pitched roof with a brick stack that includes some cornicing. The building is two storeys high and has two ranges of sash windows with glazing bars on the east side and one on the south side. The south side also has a mid-19th century shop front on the ground floor. The adjacent No 222b has a hipped slate roof with a catslide behind. It is also two storeys tall, with two ranges of sash windows with glazing bars on the south side and one on the east side. There is a lean-to extension to the north and a one-storey weatherboarded section to the south that abuts No 222a.
