Description
The Convent of the Sacred Heart and Perpetual Adoration, located on Dorking Road in Epsom, dates from the early 19th century. This two-storey building is constructed of stucco and features a symmetrical arrangement of windows, with one central sash window that is blocked and two outer sash windows with jalousies, all set within architrave surrounds. The central section of the building is topped with a hipped slate roof, while the outer sections also have hipped slate roofs. In front of the convent, there are original railings adorned with urn finials, and the piers are topped with anthemia finials.
