Description

The buildings at 73 and 75 South Street consist of a group of three elements constructed between the 17th and 18th centuries. The left-hand part is a low, two-storey structure built of red brick, featuring two Yorkshire casement windows and a parapet, topped with an old tile roof. A central doorway provides access. The central section is slightly taller, also two storeys, with two square sash windows and a central panelled door, itself topped with a hood. This section also has a parapet and a tiled roof. The right-hand part projects forward, with a single storey of red brick, a large, small-panel window that runs around the angle, and a flat canopy extending over its entire perimeter. The roof here is of old pantiles, rising almost to the height of the central section.
