Description

The former Flight Booking Office at Brooklands Museum dates from around 1911. It is constructed of red brick with timber and glass above, topped by a plain tiled roof featuring ridge cresting. This rectangular, single-storey office has a horizontally divided planked door at one end. It is reputed to be the world's first flight booking office and is recognized for its significant connections to the history of British aviation at Brooklands. The building was relocated to its current site in 1989.
