Description

This is a lamp post located approximately 20 yards east of the Chaplaincy in Whiteley Village, dating from around 1912. It is made of cast iron and features a square four-legged base with a diagonally framed basket top. The lamp post has a tapering standard with a lantern that includes a decorative finial, supported by a doubled scroll-work arm that curves in an S-shape.
