Description

Byways is a cottage built around 1800. It features a stucco exterior on a rendered plinth and has a slate roof with stacks located to the left and rear right. The building is two storeys high and has a plat band above the ground floor. It consists of two bays, each with glazing bar sash windows set in architrave surrounds on cill brackets. To the right, there is a half-panelled door with a transom light, also in an architrave surround and topped with a flat hood. This cottage is included in the register for its group value with Rose Cottage.
