Description

This is an early 19th-century barn situated 20 yards to the east of number 81, The Rectory, in Stoke D'Abernon. The barn is timber-framed, set upon a brick plinth, and clad with weatherboard. It has a half-hipped plain tiled roof, with a catslide extending over the front aisles. The building is rectangular, five bays in length, and features a central opposing carriage entrance sheltered by a hipped roof projection. The interior showcases Queen-post construction, with open stalls towards the rear. The barn incorporates older timber in its construction.
