Burhill Club House

Burhill Club House is a country house, now functioning as a clubhouse, dating from around 1840. The building is rendered and features a modillion eaves cornice and a balustrade atop hipped, slate roofs. There are rendered stacks on both the left and right sides. The structure has two storeys over a basement on the left, with rendered quoins at the ends and a plat band above the ground floor.

The facade consists of seven bays, with sash windows in projecting surrounds on the first floor, which have scroll bracket cills. The central window on the first floor is tripartite, featuring Doric pier mullions and a segmental pediment above the centre light. The ground floor windows are framed by architrave surrounds and topped with triangular pediments. There are double panelled and part-glazed doors beneath a fanlight, flanked by round-arched windows separated by Doric pilasters at the centre.

A single-storey, balustraded portico with three arches is supported by four Doric columns. To the left, there are three bays set back, with a projecting, channelled ground floor. The top is adorned with a cornice and chain link balustrade. Further to the left, there is a four-bay block that is two storeys high with an attic, featuring balconies at the first floor centre windows and two windows with pediments on the channelled ground floor.
