Description

This listing describes three chest tombs located approximately 11 meters northwest of the Church of Saint Kenelm. Two of the tombs date from the 17th century and are made of stone with a rectangular plan. They feature plain chests with plain slab tops that have bevelled edges. The chest tomb dedicated to Deodalus Collis is dated 1793 and is also made of stone with a rectangular shape. It has a moulded plinth and a fielded panel in the center of each side, flanked by slim panels. Each end of this tomb has a panel with inscriptions, and it is topped with a stepped and moulded design that includes a roll-moulded spine.
