Description
Glebe Farmhouse and the attached barn are a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century. The building is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled stone slate roof with symmetrical brick end stacks. It has a central-staircase plan with two storeys and an attic, and a symmetrical three-window arrangement. The windows have timber lintels and consist of six-pane sashes, while the entrance includes a six-panelled door, two of which are glazed. To the right, there are service ranges made from similar materials, also with one storey and an attic. A 20th-century entry has been added to the left side wall. The interior has not been inspected.
At the rear, there is a barn made of coursed limestone rubble, topped with an old tile gabled roof. This barn has three bays and features a timber lintel over 19th-century plank doors leading to the threshing floor, along with a collar-truss roof supported by butt purlins. The farmhouse was likely built for the Tuckey family around 1780.
