Description
This is a wall attached to the Woodstock Gate wall and to China Corner, dating from the late 18th century. It is made of squared and coursed limestone and features pilasters and tall square corner piers, topped with ashlar coping. The wall ramps up to China Corner and extends for approximately 50 metres to the west before returning for about 200 metres north along the parish boundary. There is also approximately 12 metres of right-angle wall connected to the Woodstock Gate wall. This structure is included for its group value, as Blenheim Park is listed in the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission Register of Parks and Gardens at Grade I.
