Description

The bale tomb located about 15 yards south of the south transept of the Church of Holy Trinity in Ascott-under-Wychwood dates from around 1700. It is constructed of ashlar and features panelled sides, a moulded cornice, and a plain bale. This type of tomb is quite common in the area and is part of a notable group within the churchyard.
