Description

House at 91 Main Road, Long Hanborough, dates from the late 17th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled stone slate roof with brick end stacks. The building is L-shaped with a rear left wing, standing two storeys tall with an attic and a three-window range. The front has 20th-century stop-chamfered timber lintels above a 20th-century door, which is sheltered by a 20th-century porch, and above 20th-century mullioned windows. There are two gabled roof dormers, each with two-light windows. The one-storey rear wing is made of limestone rubble and has a steeply-pitched artificial stone slate roof.
